Quinn McKenna, Senior VP Operations, was recently named a Director of the California Restaurant Association (CRA). The CRA is the oldest restaurant association in America and for more than 100 years has sought to be the definitive voice of the restaurant industry. The CRA Board of Directors is comprised of over 50 of California's most passionate and experienced industry professionals. This group works together to ensure that the CRA provides the most effective services and representation possible for restaurateurs and service providers.

LarkCreek® Steak now open

LarkCreek® Steak opened on September 28, 2006 at the new Westfield® San Francisco Centre. You may have heard of this development at Fifth and Market Streets in downtown San Francisco. It will host the new Bloomingdales, and it is the largest retail development in construction in California. Suffice it to say we are excited about the location. We're located on the fourth floor, but we are sure you will find us easily (all roads lead there—it is the only place that Nordstrom and Bloomies connect—plus it offers a terrific best view of the historic Emporium Dome).
As for the restaurant, our design team, led by Mark Stevens of Architect & Light, has created a really stylish but comfortable environment and the menu is going to combine the best of two worlds: great steaks, seafood and chops (like a steak house) and the seasonal, farm fresh American fare (we hope) you’ve come to expect from all of our restaurants. Add 250 all-American wines, personable service and some extra surprises and we’re sure it adds up to something special.

Musician and singer/songwriter Billy Philadelphia has returned to One Market Restaurant on the San Francisco Embarcadero to delight guests on the piano from 6:00-9:00pm, every Saturday evening at the restaurant.
An acclaimed Bay Area performer, Billy Philadelphia has been Musical Director for several Bay Area television programs including KRON-4’s SFO with Steve Jamison (for which Billy wrote and recorded the theme song) and KGO-TV's AM San Francisco. He has accompanied the incomparable Dame Edna in her hit show, The Royal Tour, at Theatre on the Square in San Francisco and has had a long-running spot as the "Man About Town" on the Frank and Mike Show on KNBR-AM.
